Founded by Pat and Adrian, Dry the Well is a modern original grunge band from the Metro Phoenix area in Arizona. Dry the Well expands on the sound, groove, and core of grunge. Bringing in driving hard rock, progressive metal, and soulful blues, every member leaves their mark. Dark harmonies collide with driving anthems. Deep grooves lead to haunting melodies. Reaching out to every listener with a story or an experience they can feel.

We have been asked, as a group and individually, what the name means to us.

“Dry The Well” represents reaching the point where there’s nothing left to give.

The well is everything buried inside you: the pain, anger, memories, fear, addiction, relationships, regrets, and experiences that you keep drawing from to survive.

To Dry The Well means you’ve gone so deep into yourself that you’ve exhausted the source.

But there’s another side to it:
You can either stay at the bottom of the empty well, or climb out.
